Your home, on your Mac.
My Home Workshop keeps your designs on your device. This policy explains the information used by the app and when you contact us.
Projects and reference images
Your building projects, imported reference images, exports, preferences and recovery copies are stored locally. The app does not upload these files to our servers. If you choose a folder managed by iCloud Drive or another sync service, that service handles synchronization under its own settings and policy.
File access
The app uses the macOS App Sandbox. It accesses files or folders you select in system dialogs and saves security-scoped bookmarks locally to remember that permission. These bookmarks are not sent to us.
Trial and purchases
The free 7-day trial and one-time Lifetime Unlock use Apple's StoreKit. The app reads Apple-verified purchase information, including the product, original purchase date and entitlement or revocation status, to determine feature access. Apple handles payment and purchase history; we do not receive your payment card details. The app does not send purchase records to a developer-operated licensing server.
The trial starts when you claim the free trial through the App Store. It does not automatically charge you or renew. A separate purchase is required for Lifetime Unlock.
Analytics and advertising
The Mac App Store edition does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not require a separate developer account. Diagnostic information may be stored locally. Any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by your Apple settings and Apple's privacy policy.
Contacting support
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and resolve the issue. Please remove private information from screenshots, logs and projects before sending them. Do not send passwords, payment card details or Apple verification codes.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request, related follow-up and applicable recordkeeping requirements. You can ask us to delete support information we hold, subject to those requirements. Email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it.
Your choices
You control your local project files and exports and can delete them using macOS. Removing the app may not remove files you saved outside its container or copies held by a backup or sync service. Apple manages App Store purchase records. To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you sent us through support, email [email protected].
Changes and questions
We will update this page when the app's data practices change. This policy applies to the Mac App Store edition of My Home Workshop. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
